THURSDAY 18th JUNE
British & Irish Lions Tours 1 and 3 depart the UK. This afternoon / evening meet your Holiday Direct Sports Travel Tour Representative at London Heathrow Airport (Terminal 1) to check in for the South African Airways (or similar) overnight flight to Cape Town, South Africa.
FRIDAY 19TH JUNE
This morning arrive at Cape Town Airport. After clearing customs and immigration formalities meet our Ground Handling Agent and transfer by coach to your accommodation in Cape Town, via a guided city tour (optional excursion to Table Mountain also available). Rest of the day / evening is at leisure in Cape Town (The Mother City) to explore the many restaurants, shops and attractions within the V & A Waterfront or Long Street.
SATURDAY 20TH JUNE
Full morning is at leisure to soak up the Pre Match atmosphere in Cape Town. Depart your accommodation at 12.00 for your coach transfer to Newlands Stadium to attend First Test Match between the Springboks and Lions. Depart Newlands at 18.00 for your coach transfer to your accommodation, V+A Waterfront or Long Street.
SUNDAY 21ST JUNE
Full day is at leisure for relaxing, shopping or sightseeing. Take an optional guided coach tour of the Winelands and visit Spears Vineyard and Cheetah Farm for Wine Tasting, lunch and experience the Cheetahs. Rest of the evening is at leisure in Cape Town.
